American Beauty progress at Foundry

Yesterday I added a photo of the American Beauty face in wax at Deep in the Heart Art Foundry

These two photos show the wax sections already being encased in the ceramic shell. The bottom photo shows that same wax face now sprewed and being coated in ceramic shell.

Anvil in use.

OK, I got an anvil for Christmas from Sarah & Mike. I misheard Mike as saying it was 178 lbs. it's really 128 lbs. I was feeling very strong carrying it around. It's a very good anvil. Now to build a forge.
